This past Sunday was the first attempt my friend Tonya and I have made at putting together a craft/art event. It was held at my parent's B&B The Inn at Ragged Edge in Chambersburg, PA. We weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a great day and all of the vendors seemed to feel it was a success. We kept it pretty small for the first time around, but we're hoping to make it bigger and better for next year!

Here are just a few of the vendors we had...

This was my table:
My friend Tonya makes these adorable pillows along with other home decor items, handbags, and other accessories:
I loved the beautiful colors of these scarves and they were SO soft:
My sister Rita's artwork and greeting cards:
We also had freshly bakes gourmet treats like these cranberry scones, and the barista was kept busy making pumpkin spice lattes:
I wish I could show you everything, but if you're in the area, hopefully you will stop in next year!

Today's outfit is in honor of the upcoming celebration of our freedom. I'm going to be hanging out with the family for summer party fun. What are your plans?

I am so excited to find out that I won tickets to see "Hank Williams: Lost Highway" at the Totem Pole Playhouse! It will be my first time there, but I hear the attire is generally pretty casual since it's an outdoor theatre. I think something like this would be perfect, because it's casual and comfortable yet still looks put-together. What do you think?

So, I've decided to deem Wednesdays "What to Wear Wednesday" with the intention of posting an outfit featuring my jewelry. I know you effortlessly cool fashionistas don't need help putting together outfits, but I think it's fun and maybe I'll provide some inspiration along the way.

Today's outfit was inspired by the Pamper Me Fabulous event that I posted about on Monday. It's going to be a day full of a variety of activities, including product testing and fitness, so I put together something that would be comfortable and non-fussy, but still chic and feminine. I kept the jewelry minimal, because who wants a necklace dangling in their face during Downward-Facing Dog? The Lola Earrings add a bit of whimsy and the Illiana Cuff can easily be pushed up on the arm to keep it in place.

Today I shipped off a package of items that I'm contributing to a raffle for Pamper Me Fabulous. This is a fantastic women's-day-out event that's taking place in Los Angeles on March 27. I really wish I lived closer, so I could attend, but I'll just have to live vicariously through my jewelry. It's a day full of fun, food, fitness, fashion, freebies, and just overall fabulousness. Seriously, if you live nearby, it's definitely worth checking out: www.PamperMeFabulous.com... and you may win some of my jewelry!

As I attempt to cure my chocolate hangover with more chocolate, I just wanted to let all of my wonderful customers know that I love you! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to keep doing what I'm doing, so thank you!

Yesterday I had a couple of friends over for afternoon tea. It's not a normal thing for us since we're usually pretty busy during the week, but it was a nice change of pace.

This morning I'm working on polishing up some pieces that I oxidized yesterday. Once I get these finished up I plan to get started on some new designs, yay!

This is a one of a kind set that I will be donating to the Cove Valley Camp benefit auction tomorrow (2/19). The necklace is much like my Rosa necklace but with a much larger pendant. The auction will take place at Chambersburg Mennonite Church. There will be handmade items, new items, collectibles, and, possibly most importantly, food! So stop in if you're in the area... the food will be available starting at 5pm and the auction starts at 5:30pm.

Just when I thought I couldn't take anymore cold weather, mother nature decided to dump 397 feet of snow on us. I thought I may as well take some picture while it's here...

It was hard to get a picture of myself, but it was up to my knees!

I actually shoveled the front walkway, just to be sure that any packages I'm expecting will get delivered :-)
