Today I'm working on some electro-etching. I prefer this method over the use of acids, because, well, why risk melting your skin off if you don't have to!
First I apply a resist using a Sharpie Oil-based Paint Pen:
Then it goes into a tank of copper sulfate solution (Root Kill and distilled water) and is hooked up to a power supply:
Here is a closer look. The metal from the image plate gets transferred to my make-shift copper screen:
